Some golfers, mostly beginners and weekend warriors, believe that just hitting the ball as hard as they can is the key, but a good golf swing is a lot more complicated than who can hit the ball the furthest. There are three keys to changing and curing nasty slice in your golf swing.

First, you need to take a good look at what you are doing during your swing. Get a friend to tape you while your in your swing motion with a camcorders or even your cell phone if it has the capability.

Secondly, see if you are using your hips and keeping your eye on the ball throughout your motion. Without good hip rotation and constant eye contact with the ball you will never achieve your full potential in terms of distance and accuracy.

Lastly, take some time out and watch how the pros do it. This is where TiVo and DVR come in handy with there recording and slow motion features. Just take a look at ESPN or Sports Illustrated home page and see when the next golf pro tournament will be on TV and record it or watch it live if you have the time. Once you have some of the best pro golfer on film (hopefully you got Tiger Woods' swing on film), playback it back and put your favorite golfer's swing in super slow motion. That way you will be able to break down exactly what he is doing right and what you are doing wrong with a side by side comparison.

Want to improve your golf game, cut at least 7 strokes from your score and learn how to swing a golf club like Tiger Woods? You step up to the tee, all full of confidence and concentration then boom! Your shot goes straight into the bushes and you are stuck with that stupid and embarrassed look on your face of what went wrong.

There is no feeling worse, especially if you are a very competitive like most golfers are. Once you have come to grips with the fact that all your friends and or co workers are laughing at your slice you start to replay your swing in your head and you can't for the life of you figure out where it went from sweet drive down the fairway to in a bird's nest.

First off, no one ever has a consistently good swing. The pros have it more than others, but they play everyday and get paid millions of dollars to do it so don't ever compare yourself to a pro no matter how good you are. Secondly, when you have a golf swing slice it is usually because of small alteration in during your swing. Maybe you are not following through or keeping hands interlocked on the golf club. It might be that are taking your eye off the ball just before you make contact or once you do connect with the ball you twist your wrists resulting in your slice into the trees or bushes.

One of the best ways to figure out what you are doing wrong is to have a friend make a video of your swing either on a camera or even on something as simple as your cell phone if it is compatible. Once you have taped about three swings or so, take look either when you get home or right on the golf course and see if there is noticeably wrong.

Want to improve your golf game, cut at least 7 strokes from your score and learn how to swing a golf club like Tiger Woods? It is inevitable, it will happen to you sooner or later, even the pros suffer from a case of the shanks or bad slices from time to time.
Although at the time of the nasty golf slice you don't have any no idea what went wrong with your swing because you just swung the golf like you did every time, there is always a cause and it can be a number of things.

A lot of golfers have things that they do when they swing that is unique or odd which they have become accustom to. Some golfers twist their wrists a certain way, some don't interlock their hands on the club and other just look funky when they swing. What ever it is, if it was working at one time or another you are doing something right, but there are a few things that may be the cause of your slice.

First of all most golfers totally miss the importance of good hip rotation in their golf swing, without good hip rotation your swing will never result in a maximum amount of yards in your drive. Secondly it could be your follow through, golfers without the right follow through will always a little off target. Lastly keeping your eyes on the ball. It sounds really simple, but if you lose eye contact with the ball during your swing you will almost certainly develop and ugly slice in your golf swing.

Want to improve your golf game, cut at least 7 strokes from your score and learn how to swing a golf club like Tiger Woods?
